The Territorial Arts Ministries Conservatory is a week-long discipleship-focused intensive hosted every August for the benefit young artists in the Salvation Army Eastern Territory. This year, Krystal served as a Production Leadership instructor, and a member of the Staff Worship Band.

Forefront is an independent, inter-denominational, and progressive church, drawing from many different traditions within the Christian faith. Krystal has been part of the worship team at Forefront since March 2024 and has enjoyed being able to help bring in more worship music in Spanish!

Krystal has been taking voice lessons at Lotus Voice Studio since March 2024. This has allowed her to take her vocal skills to the next level.

Krystal wrote an original song for the play “Todo El Que Cree”, based on how Mary Magdalene must have felt after being the first witness to Jesus Christ’s resurrection. The song was first performed on November 4, 2023.

Krystal has had the opportunity to serve as a worship leader for The Salvation Army in different occasions. On the Divisional level, Krystal has participated in numerous events, including Christmas performances where the Department was invited, as well as singing at various corps. On the Territorial level, Krystal has relished in being a worship track leader at TAMConservatory for the last two years.

Krystal was a member of the Worship Band for her Denomination’s Youth confraternization group. She had the opportunity of singing at various events, including youth congresses and anniversary conventions.

Krystal has been an active member of her church’s worship team since 2019, participating as a worship singer, vocal arranger, and occasional guitarist. Since January 2022, she has been serving as the worship ministry’s coordinator.

In addition to producing Gían Pérez’s live set, Krystal had the opportunity to sing backup vocals for the artist. The set included 4 original songs from Gían’s latest album, and a Shakira cover, for which Krystal arranged the backup vocals. The set was produced in San Juan Sound on January 2021 in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Krystal joined the choir of The University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras campus in January of 2020, and only had three months of in-person rehearsals before the pandemic arrived! However, she had the opportunity to participate in the Choir’s famous Valentine’s Day Serenades, as well as in several virtual choir presentations.

During her time in college, Krystal has the pleasure of being a member of The Meladies, Marquette University’s premier all-female a cappella group. After joining the group in 2014, she had the opportunity to arrange countless songs for the group to perform, record music for an album, compete twice in the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella (ICCA), and serve as music director from 2016 to 2017.

Krystal took vocal arts lessons at the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music during the Winter of 2018.

Krystal served as a worship leader for Immanuel Church Milwaukee from 2013 to 2019. She also served as ministry intern under the guidance of Pastor Bill Oliverio and Pastor Carla Dorn. The time she spent at Immanuel was incredibly influential on her faith and her development as a young adult and a musician.

Krystal had the pleasure of serving as music director for this awesome show! This musical by Michael Nicholas brought about laughs, eye-rolls, and facepalms galore. This all-star cast is “pun-believable”!
